NEWBORN SESSIONS
The best time to capture your newest bundle of joy is within the first 2 weeks. Your session will include some naturally posed shots and also some lifestyle shots including mums, dads and siblings. It's best that your newborn is feeling sleepy so I try to time these sessions around your routines. It's also great if baby has a feed whilst I set up so that they are content for their first gig behind the lens. These sessions are often run on "baby tie" meaning I will go with the flow to allow to capture the special moments when everyone is settled,
What does it cost?
A Newborn Session costs $600. You will receive 10 digital images which you can choose from your gallery. If you want more theres options to upgrade to purchase more from your gallery. A $150 deposit is to be made at the time of your booking; this is non refundable from the 4 weeks leading up to your session. If for any reason you cannot make your session within the 4 weeks leading up to your date, we can postpone the session for another time. The remainder of your session fee is due 48 hours before your session. (Newborn Sessions are priced slightly higher due to the extra time taken for this session).
Your newborn session includes family photos.
FAQ
How should we dress?
Neutral tones, whites, beige and browns compliment one another. No bright colours or heavily logo'd clothing. Something that is comfy and makes you feel pretty mama! Your newborn will be mostly undressed, wrapped or in a knitted romper supplied by me. If you have any special clothing you want your baby to be captured in please also let me know. Mama's there is a few items in the client wardrobe for you so also chat to me if this is something you may be interested in.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Newborn sessions are based in your own home, so that I can work around your routine and what works best for you. Most clients prefer around the 9-10am mark, however this can be flexible dependant on your babies sleep windows. (we aim for their sleep window).
How many images do I get?
Your session cost includes 10 high quality professionally edited images. You will receive 80+ images and you do have the option to upgrade to include more or ALL images from your gallery.
